Rob Scott
DirectorRob's passion for building was ignited in the rural landscapes of Northern Waikato, where he worked on a deer and dairy farm. Rob's experience developing a neighbouring block inspired him to pursue a career in construction.
After earning his trade certificate in carpentry, Rob gained valuable experience working on residential, commercial, and industrial projects both in New Zealand and overseas. Upon returning to New Zealand with his partner Clair, he established his own building company in sunny Gisborne.
In the wake of the GFC, Rob seized the opportunity to run and develop a local pub whilst also providing maintenance services for Mobil, Restaurant Brands and Shell. This flexibility allowed Rob to cherish quality time with his two sons, Harry and Daniel.
In early 2017, Rob relocated to the stunning Bay of Plenty to be closer to family, joining Cooper Young Construction in January 2023. Shortly after, Rob became a part owner, continuing to pursue his passion for building in a vibrant community.
